We are proud to say we supply a variety of markets which all have chosen to work with hard metal blades to maximize production efficiency.

Key markets are; slitting/converting, sign making and other markets like technical textiles, composites, corrugate board etc.

For sign making we make blades for different cutting operations;

– Drag cutting;. This is where the blades is dragged or pulled through the fabrics without being lifted.
It is very well suited for cutting materials like; foils, vinyl’s, papers, point-of sale materials, banners,
signs, etc..
– Oscillating cutters; Also suited for tough materials like leather and rubber.
– Rotary blades; 8 or 10 sided blades for cutting technical textiles and (reinforcement) fibers.

Some blades are specifically designed to cut a specific substrate or fabric. We distinguish:

Metal:

Rotary cut- off, or Tube blades; these blades are specifically designed to be used in steel pipe production to cut off the tubes. The blades move in a circular motion around the tube to eventually cut through the pipe.
Shear blades for coil processing

Carton, corrugated and paper:

We make several circular shaped blades for cutting, perforating and other dimensions.

Battery (insulation) production:

Slitting battery insulation (copper sulfide) is a very abrasive application. Blade life is low and as a result, change over time takes a big chunk of overall production costs. Here a tungsten carbide blade, coated or non- coated play a significant role in cost reductions. To also minimize contamination’ with microscopic metal parts to avoid exchange of electric charges, we are now involved in testing with ceramic blades.

Foil and thin paper:

We supply from stock slitter blades with 3 holes and slotted blades in all thickness ranging from 0.6 mm to 4 mm, and blades compatible with Zund G3, S3, D3.
